Rahne Sinclair (Loba Venenosa) perdió sus poderes mutantes en una pelea contra Mística. Su nueva actitud rebelde es su forma de buscar "el animal" que había dentro de ella.

Josh Foley, un alumno de la Escuela Xavier para Jóvenes Dotados, no sólo está enamorado de ella, sino que se da cuenta de lo que ella necesita y la ayuda a aceptar que "el animal" siempre ha estado dentro de ella, teniendo poderes o no.

Psylocke (Betsy Braddock) conoce a Doug cuando él la rescata de Mojo. Mojo utiliza los miedos de Betsy para hacerla su esclava, y le pide a Spiral que le implante un par de ojos cibernéticos para reemplazar sus ojos naturales, los cuales ella ha perdido. Doug le hace ver que tiene la fuerza para salir de su "prisión", y la entiende cuando ella decide conservar los ojos que Mojo le "regaló" (sabiendo que tenían un precio). Esta ilustración está inspirada en la canción Music of my heart, de Gloria Estefan con 'N Sync.

Psylocke (Betsy Braddock) fait la connaissance de Doug quand il la rachete de Mojo. Mojo utilise les peurs de Betsy pour la convertir en son esclave, et il demande Spiral de lui implanter une paire d'yeux cybernétiques pour remplacer ses yeux naturels dont elle a perdu. Doug l'aide à se rendre compte qu'elle a la force pour échapper de sa "prison", et il comprend quand elle décide garder les yeux dont Mojo l'a "donnés" (en connaissant qu'ils port un prix). Cette illustration est inspirée par la chanson Music of my heart, de Gloria Estefan et 'N Sync.

Psylocke (Betsy Braddock) makes Doug's acquaintance when he rescues her from Mojo. Mojo uses Betsy's fears to make her his slave, and asks Spiral to implant her with a pair of cybernetic eyes to replace her natural ones, which she has lost. Doug helps her realize she has the strength to escape her "prison", and he understands when she decides to keep the eyes Mojo had "given" her (knowing they had a price). This illustration is inspired by Gloria Estefan's and 'N Sync's song, Music of my heart.

Doug logra ver una parte de Betsy que nadie más conoce. Para él, ella es más que la mujer guerrera que los otros ven. Betsy encuentra en Doug amor puro y sincero, y se da cuenta que ella siente lo mismo por él. Sin embargo, esta mutua atracción nunca lleva a una relación. Él es un adolescente de aproximadamente 15 años, mientras que ella es una mujer de alrededor de 30. Doug is able to see a part of Betsy no one else knows. To him, she is more than the warrior woman other people see. Betsy finds pure and sincere love in Doug, and she realizes she feels the same way. However, this mutual attraction never leads to a relationship. He is an approximately 15-years-old teenager, while she is a woman with an age of around 30. This is enough to prevent them from getting closer, despite the love that truly exists between them.
